Marianne James was named REALTOR® of the Year by the Egyptian Board of REALTORS®. She recently received special recognition during a state banquet.
The annual REALTOR® of the Year Banquet was held at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum on April 9th in Springfield, Illinois. Sponsored by the Illinois Real Estate Educational Foundation, the banquet is held in conjunction with business meetings for the Illinois REALTORS®, a voluntary trade organization with more than 47,000 members engaged in all aspects of the real estate industry.
James received a special award from the state association, recognizing her as the REALTOR® of the Year for the Egyptian Board of REALTORS®
The banquet ceremony honors local award recipients and the Illinois REALTOR® of the Year. The 2018 state recipient is REALTOR® Michael D. Oldenettel of Jacksonville, an active member at all REALTOR® association levels.
The REALTOR® of the Year award is given to one member of the association who best exemplifies the professional qualities of a REALTOR®. It is based on a person’s service and leadership in the community and civic affairs as well as activities in the association.
Proceeds from the banquet benefit the work of the Illinois Real Estate Educational Foundation, a not-for-profit organization promoting research and academic advancement in real estate subjects through a series of grants and scholarships. Learn more at www.ilreef.org.
